Light Switches is a selection of three moving image pieces filmed on site at Cove Park. The switches, which are connected to each monitor, reveal the same shot at a different point in time when flipped.
This playful approach to moving image disrupts the nature of linear filmmaking by giving the viewer agency on when the work itself changes
The videos shown were all filmed during my residency at cove park and the finished works were presented at RSA New Contemporaries in 2023.
The works are intended to be interactive, with the viewer able to use the switches.
